2. Start Young

From the first moment they are able to understand right and wrong (around 2-3 years old), teach them what right and wrong means in an age-appropriate way.

One time my wife told me that she didn’t believe in dressing our 3-year-old in a bikini because she thought it was immodest. I sort of chuckled at her concern then, but a decade later, I knew she was right!

The old saying really is true: “Give me your child from 1 to 6, and I’ll give you your man!”

Also, consider this antique from Alexander Pope: “Tis education forms the common mind; Just as the twig is bent the tree’s inclined.”

Lastly, consider this thousands-of-years-old advice from Proverbs 22:6, “Train a boy in the way he should go; even when he is old, he will not swerve from it.” (“Boy” and “he” are universal terms meaning all males and females.)

Why would it be godless for a three years old child to wear a bikini? Sorry but I don’t quite understand. Most kids are completely fine being naked up to 7, 8 and even 10 years old. It’s adults’ rather perverted mindset that finds shame in the body of children. The concept of modesty should not be attributed to a young child, as no child attributes it to himself or to any other child. It is, then, brought into the picture by the adults thoughts about sexuality which, in no situation, should ever be associated with a kid this young. I don’t think anyone should let his luscious thinking shape the behavior of children, as they do not think the same

You have to teach them modestly at a young age, instead of waiting for them to reach maturity & then succumb to societal indoctrination. No athlete trains during the game, but rather before it.

No one is asking people to be modest because the human body is shameful to look at. I don’t know where you guys get that idea of “shaming” from. Asking someone to put on clothes doesn’t mean you’re asking them to be ashamed of their body. You don’t have to flaunt something in order to be proud of it.

You also have to be wary of pedos. You wouldn’t want to upload semi-clad photos of your kids on social media knowing these folks exist.

Bikinis are immodest outfits by the way. There are light & hot weather clothes that do more to cover the body & avoid enticing lust. There’s also tech like portable electric fans, Air Conditioners in the cars or houses for those that have them which can keep the body cool.
