21. Praise the Good
Most people are good at criticizing their children’s failures, but sometimes we forget to praise the good actions, which is very important!
Don’t overdo it to the point where it becomes worthless, but remember to praise your children when they make a good decision or action regarding the Faith! You will be surprised how much your simple praise and recognition can mean to your kids, even on things you think are obvious. Your praise and recognition of their good efforts lets them know they aren’t wasting their time on something unimportant and greatly encourages them to do more.
The reverse is also true: Never recognizing their good qualities sends a signal that you don’t think those things are that important or you just take them for granted.
Let’s face it: it’s tough to be Christian in the modern world, especially in liberal countries that encourage your children to sin and teach them that evil will bring them happiness. Children (and adults!) need constant encouragement to do the right thing. Be the person that gives it to them!
Thats true it is tough to be a Catholic today and an active beleiver because you have to fight the system of Satana as the apostles and saints have done before. Preaching and keeping the Faith Alive is beyond our human strength because we are week. Only God can gives us the Power of Faith. “Thank you Lord for having chosing me and you to be the salt of the Earth.” So brother and sisters we have to work hard for our families and I know that God askes from us to educate our children with Faith and to keep them away from the consuming things and materialism made by evil doers.
